Renegade Pants

i’m not a “leave a review” guy, but these deserve it.

context: 5'10", ~185 lbs, runner legs / dad waist, usually a 33. i got a 33/30. they slid on like they’d met me before. the waist has that tiny bit of give that says “i saw the burrito, it’s fine,” and the taper finally does the thing every other brand promises—room for thighs without turning my calves into sausages.

first mirror check and i actually laughed because i looked…tidier? idk how pants do FaceTune, but these shave visual pounds without that weird vacuum-seal feeling. my girlfriend hit me with, “did you get taller?” (nope). hem just lands clean on sneakers and dress shoes—no puddling, no high-water drama.

pockets: phone + keys fit without giving me hip antlers. seat doesn’t sag by 5pm. sat at a desk all day, then sprinted for the subway, and nothing pinched, folded, or broadcast the sprint to the entire train. washed twice (cold, hang dry) and they still drape like they ironed themselves out of respect.

tiny gripe: would love one more color and a back belt loop slightly closer to center—minor. overall, these pants make it look like i do core workouts on purpose. keeping this pair and ordering another before my size vanishes again.
